About
Born and raised in East Tennessee, I have been fishing for most of my life. I got my first boat at age 17 and enjoyed fishing out of it for several years. Everything changed for me in 2009. While on vacation, I went on a guided kayak tour. I had so much fun on that trip that I decided to buy a kayak when I got home and attempt to do some fishing from it. From the time I caught my first fish in the kayak, I was hooked. There just isn't a more fun way to catch them. The adrenaline rush you get when a big fish doubles your rod over and tries to take the side of your kayak with it is like no other. I ended up selling the boat a few years ago and haven't looked back. Now I spend my free time searching the Tennessee River for the biggest fish I can find from my kayak.
